Doing Business

Mason and Katie decided to use their free time this summer to go into business. They disappeared one morning this past week, and I found them out on our cul de sac with various objects ("soveners"--give the kid credit for attempting "souveniers"). Surprisingly enough, business was slow and they gave up after no customers came during the first 15 minutes. We go over market economics with Mason a lot, but he just doesn't want to believe that people won't pay him $5 for one of his drawings. The sign says "Soveners! Soveners! Evr y boty soveners!" (Souveniers! Souveniers! Everybody souveniers!--that's the sales pitch Mason came up with.)

Andrew at Lagoon

Here's a funny picture to show how much Andrew loved going to an amusement park. Mason loved Lagoon when he was Andrew's age, so I guess we had set our expectations high. How quickly we were disappointed ("Bulgy the Whale" was his first and only ride).
